It was an autumn afternoon. The sunlight had an amber hue, if any. He texted but hoped there would be no response. The coffee was good, the coffee break offerings were top notch. At least that, right? That might be what he'd miss the most, he recolected. Really took pride in his work. But it was probably time they got their collective carnal fix elsewhere.
